Newspaper Collage Artist / Using Yesterday’s Newspaper to Capture What I Dream Up Today.

I am a Chicago-based collage artist, using only upcycled newspaper. Art, for me, is a way of storytelling and preserving memories, and a medium once used to share accounts and information is now being repurposed to create new stories. Inspired by my summers spent in Northern Michigan, my first pieces are of my favorite Leelanau County views and experiences. My work also includes; florals, landscapes, and Chicago residential architecture. Each artwork contains over 100 individually hand-cut and torn pieces of newspaper to capture places unique to me and images I dream up.
