Inventory & Operations Manager & Weekend Team Member
Hours:
Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
Sunday 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
Weekday Job Responsibilities:
9:00 am – 11:00 am (before store opens)
- Sweep all three floors
- Mop all three floors
- Wipe down restroom
- Wipe down handrails and door handles
- Remove trash from the restroom, basement, and back rooms
11:00 am – 5:00 pm (during store hours)
- Booth work. Get familiar with and create ways to improve on existing booths. Deep clean of each booth by removing merchandise and do a full refresh.
- We are seeking a highly organized individual to maintain and optimize our basement space for efficient use by all staff.
- Assigning specific areas for supplies, merchandise, and display equipment.
- Clearly labeling shelves and storage units for easy access and identification.
- Ensuring frequently used items are stored within reach, with less-used items stored appropriately.
- Maintaining clear, safe walkways for efficient movement.
- Implementing and upholding a system for keeping the space organized and functional.
- Inventory control, monthly or biweekly counts on store-owned merchandise
- Advising the buyers and managers when merchandise for sale needs to be replenished
- Head of Receiving. In this role, you will be responsible for the initial handling of all incoming products. Your main duties will include unboxing, organizing inventory in our basement storage, and coordinating with the manager to ensure products are properly priced and tagged. Once tagged, you will organize products for display and restock as needed.
- Assisting lead merchandiser with moving furniture and small projects that may include but aren’t limited to: painting, hanging shelving, sign-making (basic knowledge of power tools required, ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs required)
- Assisting managers by familiarizing yourself with regular day-to-day protocols and learning the point-of-sale system
Weekend Job Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with vendor/brand names
- Assisting customers with locating items and general questions
- Knowledge in store policies
- Hourly walk-throughs, assessing store for misplaced items, trash, broken pieces etc.
- Assisting front-of-house staff
- Checking for “go-backs”
- Shopping bag and jewelry box restocks
- Knowledge of the “wrap station”
- Covering during break time
- Knowledge of store-owned products and restocking when needed
- Light dusting, sweeping, and wipe downs of high touch and traffic areas
- Familiarity with weekend events and assisting show vendors wherever needed
- Base-level knowledge of social media posting and video-making
- Base-level knowledge of tool usage (hammer, drill, wall patching supplies)
Galleria Inventory & Operations Manager is expected to work Tues, Thurs, Sat, and Sun at a rate of $20/hr.
If permitted, willingness to be on-call for emergencies.
